ASHLAND, Ore. -- The Ashland Independent Film Festival is not until next April, but that hasn't stopped the organization from looking for new films right now.

The director of programming for the local festival went to Canada for the Toronto International Film Festival. He says he was able to search for the best in features, short films, and independent films to include in next year's selection.

Since he had industry access, he was able to view almost twenty feature films in just six days.
