MEDFORD, Ore.--The Cascade Christian Challengers are league champions for the fifth straight season, and not even a morally-deflating, highly improbable bounce that led to the St. Mary's jumping out to an early lead could prevent them from exerting their Southern Cascade League dominance.

The Challengers (7-1, 2-0) rolled over St. Mary's 70-14 for their fourth straight Holy War win.

Led by Haiden Schaan's devastating shoulder-lowering booms and Ian Fralich's steady dose of stiff arms, the Cascade offense established a new season high in points and have now posted more than 40 in five straight games.

The loss for the Crusaders (4-4, 1-1) means their season finale on the road against Lakeview (3-4, 1-1) will be a winner-take-all ga,e for the league's second and final playoff spot.
