MEDFORD, Ore. -- NewsWatch 12's Gio Insignares is 'In the Kitchen' with Katia Larios from KDelicious Bakery for a look at how to make lemon bars.
- Cream two sticks of butter (it should be room temperature)

- Add ½ cup of sugar, mix
- Add two cups of flour, mix
- Mix all of the above until you get firm dough
- Spread out evenly onto pan, patting dough down toward every corner (this will be your base)
- Put pan into oven, bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes
- In the meantime, begin lemon curd mixture
- Cut 4 lemons, then set aside
- Mix 1 ½ cup of sugar, ¼ cup of all-purpose flour, and 4 eggs until blended well
- Add juice from the 4 cut lemons and blend into the above mixture
- Remove dough from the oven, add lemon curd mixture directly on top of dough,
- Place back into the oven for another 20 minutes (same temperature)
- Remove from oven and let cool for 10-15 minutes… add powedered sugar or anything else you would like on top
- Cut, eat and enjoy
