1 Dead After Crash Near Jacksonville

There's a detour from Oregon Street to Cady Road.

JACKSONVILLE, Ore. --

12/12/18 7:15 A.M. UPDATE: Oregon State Police says the deceased person has been identified as 66 year old Nancy Asman of Jacksonville. The driver of the vehicle pulling the trailer is identified as 21 year old Charles Redlingshafer of Central Point.

The person who was seriously injured has not been identified at this time.

8:20 P.M. UPDATE: Oregon State Police say a truck pulling a trailer lost control, and drifted into oncoming traffic. There are no criminal charges expected.

7:45 P.M. UPDATE:  Oregon State Police have confirmed one fatality and one serious injury in the crash. Police say one of the vehicles was pulling a trailer. We are working to confirm more details.

A three-vehicle crash is blocking Highway 238 at the top of Jacksonville Hill.

There's a detour from Oregon Street to Cady Road.

Expect lengthy delays as officials investigate the scene.
