WIMER, Ore. -- Two people have died in a shooting in the Wimer area, according to the Jackson County Sheriff's Office. The suspect, 35-year-old Joshua Robert Miller, is still on the loose and is considered armed and dangerous.
On Thursday, the Jackson County Sheriff's Office SWAT and K9's searched a property on the 15000-block of East Evans Creek Road. Deputies located the bodies of two male victims in the wood line above the property. The victims were found about a half-mile from where they were shot.
Miller's Polaris side-by-side ATV was also located about 150 yards up the hill. Investigators say the area was searched extensively for the suspect, but searchers couldn't find him.
Miller is described as having sandy-blonde hair, standing five-foot ten-inches tall, and 185 pounds.
If you see or know Miller's location, deputies say call 911 immediately and do not approach him.
The Sheriff's Office isn't releasing the victims names until next of kin are notified.
