GRANTS PASS, ORE.-- 911 received a call of a mobile home caught on fire Friday.
First arriving fire crews were faced with a fully involved single wide mobile home spreading to nearby homes, cars and vegetation. Grants Pass Police started evacuating nearby homes, as firefighters from several agencies put out the flames.
Quick action by the firefighters saved three neighboring homes that were becoming involved.
Officials say the home where the fire started along with three vehicles and two outbuildings are a total loss .
There were no reported injuries from the fire. The American Red Cross responded to assist those displaced with housing and other immediate needs.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
Grants Pass Fire was assisted on scene by American Medical Response, Rural Metro Fire, Illinois Valley Fire, Rogue River Fire and Applegate Fire.
