MEDFORD, Ore. – A local organization needs your help to fill their pantries and feed hungry students this school year.

As students at North Medford High School head back to class this week, the Campus Life Youth Center across the street wants to make sure they have what they need to help feed students in between classes.

The center, which is run by Youth For Christ, is open during the lunch hour two days a week, and open after school four days a week. The center relies on donations and is asking the public for non-perishable food donations. This week, volunteers will be accepting donations at the Youth Center on Roberts Road across from the high school.

The Youth Center’s director says they receive about 30 students each day during the lunch hour and after school. For more information on how you can help, you can call the center at 779-9953.
