Worsening Air Quality & Fog

video preview image

As high pressure builds over the entire Western United States, the result is valley inversions, worsening air quality, and foggy weather in Southern Oregon and parts of Northern California.  No change is expected until the middle of next week.

There appears to be a possible shift in the long term weather patterns, beginning in the middle of next week.  The high pressure zone will break down, allowing storms from the Gulf of Alaska to move over Oregon and Northern California.
