MEDFORD, Ore. — Saturday was the last day for the Just For Women Expo at the Medford Armory. Event coordinators said they saw a steady flow of traffic throughout the event.
Vendors from across the Rogue Valley set up booths with everything ranging from hair and make-up tips, to Zumba, and even free massages and healthcare information.
Goodwill even had their own runway show that taught people how to dress trendy on a budget.
“It was like the little black dress, but we didn’t do it in black, we did it in color, and just showed how by changing a jacket or accessories you can change your whole look,” said Suzi Lewis of Southern Oregon Goodwill.
Organizers said the event brought in a lot of “mom and pop” shops, and it allowed them to advertise on a much larger scale.
