Woman Arrested For Flight Disturbance

MEDFORD, Ore. – A Central Point woman was arrested after police say she was causing a disturbance on a flight.

Medford Police said 32-year-old Melisa Levario was apparently drunk on a flight from Seattle to Medford this weekend. She was using her cell phone while in flight, screaming and refusing to do what was asked of her by the flight crew.

When police tried to handcuff Levario at the Rogue Valley Airport, she then kicked one of the officers and spat on two others. She is charged with attempting to assault an officer, harassment, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
