Wolf Creek Man Arrested in Stabbing

BaezNEAR CAVE JUNCTION, Ore. — Oregon State Police have arrested a 53-year old Wolf Creek man following a stabbing during a disturbance Wednesday night on the 2600 block of Chapman Creek Road, east of Cave Junction. The victim is being treated for serious, non-life threatening injuries.

OSP says a verbal dispute over loud music developed into a physical fight, and that’s when police say a 41-year-old man was stabbed more than once in the abdomen by 53-year-old Secundino Baez.

Hosmer was transported to a local hospital for treatment of his injuries. Baez was taken into custody by OSP and lodged in the Josephine County Jail for Assault in the First Degree and Unlawful Use/Carrying of a Dangerous Weapon.
