Witnesses Report Drive-By Shooting

MEDFORD, Ore. — Police are investigation reports of a drive-by shooting from Friday evening. Officers responded to the 1500 block of Bryant Street in Medford around 5:30 p.m. to find neither the victim or suspect on the scene.

Police spoke with witnesses who say a silver Honda Civic with four doors was occupied by five subjects wearing red.

Witnesses recall the front passenger in the car pointing a semi-automatic pistol at a man on the sidewalk in the area and firing one round at the ground. The vehicle then fled the area, according to witnesses.

Police say the suspects and victim have not been identified. The suspects are described as late teens to early twenties in age, light facial hair and a black baseball cap.
