A cold front pushing into the Pacific Northwest is bringing widespread rain to the forecast area this morning. As the front drives inland it will weaken and the current widespread shower activity will become more scattered, and then isolated into midday. By this afternoon, most inland areas will be partly sunny.
The moisture streaming in with this system is also bringing fog to the Coast & Valley this morning. Most of this will burn off once the sun rises. High temperatures are going to be very similar to yesterday. Another round of fog is expected tomorrow morning, but mostly sunny skies are anticipated by the afternoon.
The dry weather continues through Friday before our next system moves in for the weekend. Scattered showers will move in from the North Saturday morning, but the air mass will dry out by the afternoon and for the remainder of the weekend.
