Big Windy Complex – 12,631 acres (up from Tuesday), 0% containment, 1,311 personnel
**Level 1 evacuations have been issued for Galice Access Road north to the Graves Creek Bridge along Galice Road. **
Douglas Complex – 40,135 acres (up from Tuesday), 17% containment, 3,167 personnel
A community meeting will be held in Wolf Creek Wednesday evening at 6:30p.m.
The evacuation level has been downgraded from a Level 3 (restricted access) to Level 2 (modified access). Level 2 evacuations have been downgraded to Level 1. Both downgrades are from Wolf Creek to Graves Creek Bridge along Lower Wolf Creek Road and Lower Graves Creek Road.
A Level 2 evacuation allows residents to come and go, but they must be prepared to evacuate at a moments notice. ID must be shown and proof of residence in this area, it is still closed to public traffic.
Whiskey Complex – 10,245 acres (up from Tuesday), 30% containment, 917 personnel
Whiskey — 8,536 acres, Buckeye — 1682 acres, Smith Ridge — 27 acres (contained)
Labrador Fire – 2,020 acres, 0% containment, 249 personnel
A public meeting will be held 7 p.m. Thursday, August 8th by fire managers to discuss the fire’s status with residents. This will be at 102 South Redwood Highway in Cave Junction.
Brimstone Fire – 2,372 acres, 100% containment, 136 personnel
Salmon River Complex (CA) — 7,182 acres (up from Tuesday), 16% containment (up from Tuesday), 1,021 personnel
**An evacuation advisory has been issued for residents of Sawyers Bar, Idelwild and Mule Bridge. This notice is for all residents along Sawyers Bar Road and Forest Road 40N47 between Rattlesnake Gulch and the Marble Mountain Wilderness boundary. Residents are not required to evacuate but should be prepared to evacuate should fire conditions worsen.**
