"Meteorological Fall" starts today, and cold front number three will make us feel some "fall-like" temperatures!
Today: Skies will remain mostly sunny for a while, until the cold front has a chance to move closer to us. As is does, clouds will increase out of the northwest. Temperatures will run about the same across the board or a few degrees warmer. Winds out of the west will strengthen to 5-15 mph with occasional gusts to 25.
Tonight: Tonight, the added clouds will keep temperatures mild over the region. A chance for very light isolated showers will move in along the coast around midnight, and progress to the Cascades through the early morning hours. Winds will stay a little breezy as the cold front passes.
Tomorrow: Wednesday we will notice another “fall-like” situation with temperatures dropping 5-10 degrees with the added cooler air. A few lingering showers will fall, mainly in higher elevations. The coast will start with patchy morning fog.
