Weather Creates Landslide Problems

ROGUE RIVER, Ore. – Transportation crews are keeping an eye out for any road problems the weather could be causing.

ODOT says several spots along area highways have reports of high water that includes Highways 62 near Shady Cove, Highway 99 near Rogue River, and Highway 238 at Murphy. They have not had any reports of landslides in Jackson County.

In Douglas County, ODOT crews are cleaning up the debris from a landslide on the North Umpqua Highway near milepost 53. Drivers are being asked to use caution while driving through that area.
