MEDFORD, Ore. – The cold conditions made the roads dangerous for drivers. Oregon State Police troopers say some drivers decided not to take it slower on the road on Interstate 5 Tuesday morning, causing multiple crashes.
OSP was dealing with everything from rollovers, to cars slamming into other vehicles. Troopers say people are not paying attention and speeding.
“People are driving too fast, and not having enough patience. Most of the crashes were where people were losing traction, sliding off the road. We did have one incident where a pick-up truck ran into a snow plow, ” said Oregon State Police Sgt. Jeff Allison.
Despite the multiple crashes, Mercy Flights said it did not have to send anyone to the emergency room for any major injuries.
