SELMA, Ore. – More than 60 guns were seized from a Josephine County home, during a raid of a medical marijuana site. Police also arrested two people, in that raid near Selma, who now face several charges.
Police say 54-year-old Raymond J. Beairsto and 50-year-old Karen Beairsto face charges of illegal manufacture and sale of marijuana, and illegal possession of guns. The 67 weapons seized include semi-automatic rifles, pistols, shotguns and black powder firearms.
According to a Grants Pass newspaper, police went to the home based on a tip but were refused entrance. They later picked up a man who told them he had been trimming marijuana buds at the property.
