Washington Bottler to Sell Liquid Pot

legalLONGVIEW, Wash. — From sodas to coffees, a Pacific Northwest bottler is infusing drinks with marijuana.

Mirth Provisions says it’s filling a gap in the Washington marijuana business. The company is the first company to produce the product they’re calling “Legal.” It’s infused with 20 milligrams of THC.

A Mirth Provisions employee explains, “The idea is we’re going to put a reasonable dosage in here that you can kick back and casually drink the whole thing, without worrying about how you’re going to feel later.”

The coffee drinks are on hold until the state gives the green light. The sodas will be available on Monday in eight of the 22 stores in the state that are licensed to sell marijuana.
