A weak high pressure will keep sunny skies for most of our day today before a warm front brings a few clouds later this afternoon. A slight chance for some showers in our northwest area including Douglas and Coos county as well as the Coast Range and Cascades, not expecting much accumulation with these showers and they will occur mainly overnight. A better chance for showers moves in with the passing cold front late Wednesday into Thursday bringing more widespread showers to the area.
We’ll continue to see a warming trend through Friday with afternoon highs warming 5-10 degrees above normal, but overnight lows will remain at or below normal. Our next chance for showers comes in late Saturday through Sunday but is quick to exit with warm temperatures again on Monday and sunny skies.
We could use more rainfall as most areas are below normal for the water year in terms of precipitation. Like me on Facebook for a video of what our water year totals look like so far and more weather reports. Thanks for logging on and have a great Tuesday!
