Another round of sun is in store for today. High temperatures will be climbing well above average for the afternoon, approaching 70 degrees over much of the West Side. The forecasted high in Medford is in fact 70 later today. Patchy morning fog and the typical low lying clouds that form in the Valley are likely to start the morning off though.
Skies will stay sunny and the weather quiet throughout Thursday before a weak front moves through the Northwest on Friday. This will bring a few light showers to Southern Oregon for the end of the week but the storm is not looking very impressive and showers will be few and far between.
Saturday and Sunday will bring more sun and warm temperatures. The 70’s are in the forecast for the weekend across West Side Valleys and over Northern California as well. Widespread precipitation is not looking very promising with the weather pattern in control at this time.
