SALEM, Ore. — Today is the last day to register to vote for the May 21st election. Eligible Oregonians can register to vote online or at county election offices and the DMV.
There are some key issues on the ballot, such as a tax levy to support the Josephine County public safety program. The three-year levy would add a tax property to fund the adult jail, juvenile services, animal control, the district attorney’s office and the sheriff’s office for patrols.
You can also make sure your information is current and check your voting status online by going to oregonvotes.gov. Registration cards must be postmarked by April 30 or submitted online no later than 11:59 p.m.
