CENTRAL POINT, Ore. – Dozens of Southern Oregon residents gathered at the Fallen Heroes War Memorial in Central Point on Monday morning for the Fourth Annual Veterans Day observance.
Organized by State Representative Dennis Richardson, himself a Vietnam War veteran, the program featured a flag ceremony by Scout Troop 109, and speakers from the White City Veterans Treatment Center, and retired Marine Colonel David Dotterrer.
“Your support of our servicemen and women is a powerful weapon,” Colonel Dotterrer said, “And in addition to honoring the memory of those who gave their lives for this country, I urge you to reach out to their families, to living vets and the service men and women who continue to defend our freedom.”
The memorial in Central Point contains the names of nearly 6,000 Oregon service men and women who have died in the line of duty in all wars of the United States.

Where can I find a list of the names of all fallen veterans by war? Are any WWII Merchant Marine names included? If so, how many?
Thanks
