US Bank Robbed Twice in One Month

MEDFORD, Ore. — Shortly after 2 p.m. Sunday Medford Police responded to a reported bank robbery at the US Bank on North Phoenix Road near Albertsons in Medford.

The suspect entered the bank and demanded money from the teller, but he did not display a weapon. The suspect is described as a white male in his early 20’s to 30’s about 5’6 to 5’10 with a stalky build.

Medford Police say he was last seen exiting the west doors of the bank, the doors facing Albertsons, with an undisclosed amount of money.

This is the second time in December that this bank has been robbed. The last incident was on December 1, 2012. This bank was also robbed back on January 8, 2012.

Police say it is possible that the same person is robbing the bank. Officers are unsure of the motivation for robbing this specific bank. One Medford Police officer said it could be because of its location, on the “outskirts of town,” making it easier to escape.
