NEAR APPLEGATE LAKE, Calif. – A cause of death has now been confirmed in the murder of Michael Christopher MacCallum. The Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office is now saying MacCallum died of a gunshot wound.
Investigators in Siskiyou County say they uncovered what they are calling a promising find of evidence in Tuesday’s search of the crime scene involved in the murder of Christopher MacCallum.
Crews looked over the wooded area near where MacCallum’s body was found. On Wednesday, the sheriff’s office said it will be re-interviewing witnesses in the case including the victims family members.
