UO Students Protest Lack of Charges

UO Rape ProtestEUGENE, Ore. — Hundreds of students in Eugene are protesting the lack of charges in the case against the three University of Oregon basketball players accused of rape. Protesters say they are outraged by the lack of accountability shown by the university.

They say the school preaches a safe and valuable educational environment, but its lack of action in the investigation is showing otherwise.

The University says it has been looking to revise the code of conduct, a set of rules that guides administrators in taking disciplinary action in cases like this.
