Two More Names Released From I-84 Crash

PENDLETON, Ore. — Oregon State Police said the Oregon State Medical Examiner’s Office has positively identified the remaining four victims of Sunday morning’s fatal bus crash that killed 9 people and injured 38 others along Interstate 84 east of Pendleton, Oregon.

Two names were released Thursday afternoon after next of kin were notified. 63-year-old Chun Ho Bahn was a US Citizen from Bothell, Washington. Her husband, 66-year-old Youn Bahn, is being treated at St. Anthony Hospital in Pendleton. 61-year-old Ae Ja Kim was from Gangwon Province, Korea. Her husband, 71-year-old Man Sun Kim, is still being treated at Legacy Emanuel Medical Center in Portland.

The Oregon State Police and the State Medical Examiner’s Office worked with the Korean Consulate, Consulate of Canada, and victims’ families in positively identifying the victims. OSP said the names of the final two victims will be released following family approval.
