Two Accused of Luring a Child for Sex

MEDFORD, Ore. — Two men are behind bars, accused of luring a child for sex.

The Medford Police Department says it arrested two transients, 41-year-old Mark Doty and 19-year-old Cameron Lauckner. Police say they used Craigslist to meet a 16-year-old boy.

Medford Police say the victim and the suspects started exchanging pictures and videos and eventually agreed to meet for what police believe was a sexual encounter. Police say the 16-year-old left the “meeting” because he was worried for his safety.

On Thursday, police located the two suspects in a van at around 10:00 p.m. in the parking lot of Lowes. Both suspects were interviewed and arrested. Police believe that both suspects were aware of the victim’s age.

Police say Doty has been convicted for similar behavior. In this case, he has been charged with Luring a Minor, Online Sexual Corruption of a Child 1st Degree, Online Sexual Corruption of a Child 2nd Degree and Unlawful Delivery of Marijuana to a Minor. His bail was set at $95,000. Cameron faces the same listed charges and was set with the same amount for bail.
