MEDFORD, Ore. — Autopsy results are confirming the identity of a man whose body was found over the weekend. That body is now confirmed to be that of 87-year-old Truman Tollefson.
The autopsy also states the cause of death to be exposure. Last Sunday morning a Rogue River resident reported find a body next to a car on upper grave creek road.
Detectives identified that car as Tollefson’s. They also found his wallet money id and watch on him. Tollefson was reported missing in December.
Police believe he got stuck and during the winter there was little chance of anyone finding him.
