CENTRAL POINT, Ore. — A traffic stop turned into a high speed chase and possession of drug arrest.
Police attempted to stop 49-year-old Ty Whitten while speeding on Highway 99. Whitten failed to yield, speeding away over 100 miles per hour.
Officials lost the vehicle near Interstate 5, but shortly after found the car abandoned and Whitten walking through a wooded neighborhood.
He was found to be in possession of several pounds of marijuana and several grams of methamphetamine.
