ASHLAND, Ore. — This Monday will mark the one year anniversary of the murder of David Grubbs. The 23-year-old was murdered on the bike path in Ashland.
Several days later, an autopsy on David Grubbs was released, showing that he had been killed by multiple sharp force injuries to the head and neck, causing near decapitation.
From December to July, Ashland Police worked with several different types of experts, including a national forensic specialist, in the hopes of finding any new clues into the case.
Even traveling to Virginia, where they met with the FBI Behavioral Analysis Unit. Finally, at the end of July, Ashland Police turned the David Grubbs case over to the FBI.
