Would appreciate it if Eagle Point were included on your AIR QUALITY INDEX. Thanks!

How come we can’t get an up to the hour update on the smoke conditions around our area from the weather news organizations? A few phone calls could easily provide this info & people like my wife with severe Asthma could get to the clear areas for some respite! I took her to Cave Junction yesterday & it was heavenly! She was immediately back to normal…it was clear skies & fresh air!! We could survive better if there was this info readily available.

We get regular updates throughout the day. Keep checking our website. You can also check http://www.deq.state.or.us/aqi/index.aspx

The deq.state website is the best place. Hourly updates are made on that site 15 minutes after every hour. Yesterday at 1:00 p.m. the Medford air quality was 403! Never saw anyone report on that. Last night around 9:00 p.m. it got down to around 17 and we took the opportunity for a refreshing walk. All you have to do is click on the colored dot located at Medford and it will give the statistics.
