Today was another one for the record books with broken records in Grants Pass, Ashland, Klamath Falls, North Bend and Brookings while the following cities were only 1 to 2 degrees shy of tying a record: Medford, Lakeview, Montague, Roseburg and Alturas. The cooling trend begins Friday into the weekend with temperatures dropping below average by Sunday! Clouds will increase into the weekend as well with isolated showers returning to the region Sunday into Monday due to a low pressure system shifting the ridge east.
A disturbance will wrap around the low offshore bringing a chance for isolated showers to the coast and Cascades late Friday, though most areas will see increasing clouds. Shower activity Sunday and Monday looks unimpressive with mainly light isolated showers, most at the coast and west side. Monday afternoon there is a slight chance for isolated thunderstorms, at this time mainly along and east of the Cascades.
Thanks for logging on and have a great evening!
