Teen Paraglider Rescued From Tree

Paraglider Rescue 3TRAIL, Ore. — A teen paraglider was safely rescued when they were blown into a tree after being detached from the boat that was pulling them.

On Saturday, the 17-year-old was being pulled by a boat on Lost Creek Lake. He was roughly 3,000 feet in the air when after detaching from the boat, he was taken by a strong wind gust. The gust carried the glider about 120 feet from the Lost Creek Lake Marina where he collided with a tree.

A helicopter was used to safely get the teen down.
