ASHLAND, Ore. — The City of Ashland is celebrating local food, wine, and art as part of its 25th Taste of Ashland.
The weekend-long event offers tours of local art galleries stocked with food and wine pairings from local producers.
Organizers even arranged for trolley transport through downtown. About 900 people are expected to attend between today and tomorrow, a crowd that organizers say directly benefits local businesses.
“We get reports from the galleries that they make a lot of sales over the weekend, and if not, then people see the art and they come back later and they’re really interested,” said Jeff Jones, the Taste of Ashland Events Coordinator.
The Taste of Ashland continues at noon Sunday until 4 p.m. Those who wish to attend can purchase tickets online or at the kiosk in the plaza.
