Oregon Soldier Killed in Afghanistan

WASHINGTON, D.C. — An Oregon soldier is among four who lost their lives in an Afghanistan attack. The Pentagon says 24-year-old Private First Class Cody Patterson lost his life Sunday. Family Mourns Oregon Soldier Death

Family members of an Oregon soldier killed in Afghanistan said they will remember his upbeat and bubbly outlook on life. On Tuesday, the Department of Defense announced 21-year-old Specialist Mabry J. Anders of Baker City died of injuries suffered from enemy fire.
