NEAR GOLD BEACH, Ore. — The United States Geological Survey reported a 3.8 magnitude earthquake near Gold Beach early Friday morning. On their website, USGS states the earthquake was reported at 5:53 a.m. It was 25 miles ENE of Gold Beach and 35 miles WNW of Grants Pass. No damage or injuries were reported.
