It’s the last week of the regular season for the 4A-6A and some rivalry games highlight the action. Those games include Crater at South Medford, Eagle Point at Ashland, North Valley at Hidden Valley, Grants Pass at Sheldon, Mazama at Klamath Union, Phoenix at Henley and Rogue River at Cascade Christian.
Games include: Black & Blue Game, South Eugene at Crater, Roseburg at Grants Pass, Ashland at Willamette, Hidden Valley at Klamath Union, Phoenix at North Valley, Henley at Mazama, Illinois Valley at Cascade Christian, Bonanza at Rogue River and Gilchrist at Butte Falls.
Sheldon continues its dominance of the Southwest Conference. North Medford keeps Thurston close. Grants Pass wins their third league game. Marist continues its stranglehold on the Midwestern League. Ashland gets a home rout. The two favorites in the Skyline Conference go head to head in Klamath Falls.
Sheldon pounds South Medford 52-17. North Medford hangs around for a half, but Crater breaks it open late to win 46-12. Grants Pass upsets Thurston on the road to move to 2-1 in conference. Eagle Point drums North Eugene. Klamath Union, North Valley, Hidden Valley all win in the Skyline.
Grants Pass wins its first game of the season, thumping North Medford 45-7. South Medford can’t muster up enough offense on the road, losing 20-7 to Thurston.
