Friday Night Blitz, November 21st

The last Friday Night Blitz of the 2014 season features only one Southern Oregon team in action. The Grants Pass Cavemen try to fight off West Salem in the 6A quarterfinals. Meanwhile, the NewsWatch 12 Sports team previews a busy day of football on Saturday.

Grants Pass survives in overtime against Lake Oswego. North Medford loses on the road to Jesuit while Ashland gets shut out by Silverton. Plus, previews of Saturday’s games.

Friday Night Blitz, November 7th

The intensity ramps up in the first playoff edition of the Friday Night Blitz. Highlights include a doubleheader at Spiegelberg Stadium featuring Lake Oswego/South Medford and Wilson/North Medford, Barlow/Grants Pass, Ashland/Hillsboro, Pleasant Hill/Cascade Christian and Sweet Home/Phoenix.

Friday Night Blitz, October 24th

North Medford beats South Medford 49-22 in the Black and Blue Bowl. Grants Pass blows out South Eugene, Crater, Ashland and Eagle Point all lose. Mazama crushes Phoenix for the Skyline conference championship.

Friday Night Blitz includes highlights from the following: Springfield/Ashland, North Medford/Willamette, South Eugene/South Medford, Eagle Point/Crater, Mazama/North Valley, Klamath Union/Phoenix and Cascade Christian/Illinois Valley.

Friday Night Blitz, October 10th

Grants Pass beats North Medford in a battle of undefeated teams to take control of the Southwest Conference. Ashland comes back to beat Crater 18-17 to stay perfect on the season. South Medford bounces back with a win over Roseburg. Mazama continues to roll through the Skyline Conference.

Friday Night Blitz, October 3rd

Not much drama on this week’s Friday Night Blitz as North Medford crushes Thurston, Grants Pass shuts down South Medford, Ashland blows out Churchill, Springfield all over Eagle Point, Mazama takes out Henley, North Valley over Phoenix, Klamath Union over Hidden Valley and Oakridge beat up on Rogue River.

Friday Night Blitz, September 26th

Weed plays its first home game since the Boles fire. South Medford falls to Sheldon, while North Medford and Grants Pass roll. Ashland squeaks by Ridgeview. Crater trounces Eureka. Mazama wins the Canal Bowl.

Friday Night Blitz, September 19th

Upsets, comebacks and blowouts take center stage on the Friday Night Blitz. Highlights include Grants Pass/Sheldon, Roseburg/North Medford, South Medford/Willamette, Mountain View/Crater, Sweet Home/North Valley, North Eugene/Phoenix, Cottage Grove/Henley and Klamath Union/Elmira.
