Autism Treatment Coverage Now Required

SALEM, Ore. – Insurers in Oregon are now required to cover treatment of autism and other mental health conditions the same as physical health issues. An August 8, 2014 District Court ruling found that Providence Hospitals must pay for Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy as a treatment for autism.
