Swarm of Bees Nesting in Grants Pass

video preview image

GRANTS PASS, Ore.– A swarm of bees is making a nest in a tree outside a Grants Pass woman’s home. Local bee keepers say there is nothing they can do to help because it is too high up.

Local beekper John Jacob said “It’s not uncommon to see swarms this time of the year when the weather is good and the nectar is flowing from all the good plants right now.”

He said if you are caught with a swarm of bees, contact Southern Oregon Bee Keepers association at 541-862-1604, or click here to fill out a form on their website.

Were you using a mobile device to view it? If that’s the case, scroll to the bottom of the screen and look for the “View Full Site” option. You should find the story then.
