ROGUE RIVER, Ore. — Rogue River Police now say the suspicious object blown up by the bomb squad on Thursday was a piece of exercise equipment.
The Oregon State Police bomb squad detonated the object outside a senior apartment complex Thursday morning. Rogue River Police said the object was a “slosh pipe”, which is a PVC pipe filled with water used for working out.
The pipe’s owner told police it fell off her truck yesterday. The police department had a good sense of humor about it, they tweeted “OMG, we just blew up somebody’s exercise equipment.”
We now know what we think it is, or was. A “slosh pipe.” OMG, we just blew up somebody’s exercise equipment. http://t.co/wsdZlII39u

Slosh pipe owner ID’d “device” as hers. Fell off truck yesterday. Better the “Squirt Locker” than the “Hurt Locker”! pic.twitter.com/RloXBwNSua
