MEDFORD, Ore. – It took less than 4 hours for Medford Police to arrest the suspects from a bank robbery that happened Wednesday afternoon at 620 Stewart Avenue.
The suspects, a man and woman, live just down the street from that Sterling Bank, in the 300 block of Stewart Avenue in Medford.
Police say 36-year-old Melissa Fernandez drove the get-a-way car and 37-year-old Brett Court was the one who police say approached the teller, claimed he had a weapon, and left with the cash. Court is on parole out of Josephine County for felon in possession of a firearm and DUII.
Each is charged with one count of robbery in the second degree which is a Measure 11 offense and bail is set at a million dollars for each.
