Suspected Bank Burglar Arrested

Ryan KullrichMEDFORD, Ore. — A man who’s suspected of burglarizing multiple banks across southern Oregon is now behind bars.
NewsWatch 12 reported Monday night, two men were using a fishing line and other devices to pull bank deposits from the exterior drop boxes.

Several banks in southern Oregon found those devices in their boxes and deposited money gone.

Monday, an officer spotted the car the two were seen driving in at Rogue Regency Inn. The officer saw 38-year-old Ryan Kullrich sitting in the car. He matched the person pictured in the surveillance photos from a bank. Kullrich was arrested.

“We weren’t too surprised when we saw the California plates on the vehicle. But what that usually tells us, they’re not going to be in town for long…that they’re just going to commit the crimes and move on. So, we caught him before he could do that,” explained Medford Police Lt. Mike Budreau.

Kullrich is not cooperating with police and telling them where the second suspect is hiding.
