Suspect Arrested After Facebook Post

MEDFORD, Ore. — A man is arrested in connection with a salon robbery after he tried to apologize to the victim on Facebook.

On Saturday, Medford Police said Devin Thomas entered Salon Chic. Officers arrested him on a separate robbery and he was then identified by the victim from Salon Chic. She said Thomas had connected with her on Facebook and asked for forgiveness.

“The victim in that robbery went on Medford Mugshots and started looking through photos and recognized the robber,” said Medford Police Lt. Mike Budreau.

This is the sixth robbery in Medford this month. Robberies have been up across the country during this holiday season.
