High pressure continues to sit over the region. This is bringing clear skies to all areas, including the Coastline where the Chetco Effect is being enhanced from the offshore wind. Today and tomorrow Brookings will see highs in the 70′s. It will return again on Monday.
For inland areas, temperatures continue to gradually climb after the cool starts to the days. We are now seeing highs above average — the mid 70′s in the valleys and the mid/upper 60′s in the Basin.
The extended forecast still remains dry, through at least Wednesday of next week. At this point, a closed low to the West of California begins creeping in. It looks like this could potentially bring some wet weather to the Coast, but precipitation amounts and timing still remains uncertain due to the variations among computer models, and it being so far away.
For now, warm and sunny for all areas into the weekend!
