Temperatures Thursday afternoon were very similar to Wednesday for all areas other than the Coast. Brookings had temperatures 30 degrees cooler than yesterday due to the wind shift and resulting cloud cover. The marine layer will push further inland into the weekend but sunny skies will remain over the valleys and Basin through Saturday.
A cold front will begin approaching from the North on Sunday and this is going to bring in some cloud cover for the second half of the weekend. We should still see a good amount of sunshine regardless. Temperatures will gradually cool down through the weekend into next week, becoming more seasonable by Monday & Tuesday. Rain showers will be very isolated on Monday in the Valley and more likely to the North in Douglas County and in higher terrain.
