Surface high pressure persists this evening, which means dry conditions across much of the region! Expect low clouds and fog to develop during the overnight hours in the valleys and linger through the morning. By afternoon, most places should see sunshine. With offshore flow, the Coast will warm nicely and mild temperatures are expected.
Tuesday will bring increasing clouds as our next disturbance pushes ashore. It looks as though the cold front associated with the passing area of low pressure will arrive later in the day and bring evening showers along the coast and in the valley before later progressing further inland for Wednesday. Moderate rain will fall along the shorelines and showers in the valley and basin for most of the day. Temperatures will be cold enough in the basin to support snowfall in the higher elevations. As of right now, we could see a few inches of accumulation in the mountains! Stay tuned to NewsWatch12 for updates!
