Finally! For the start of this holiday weekend, temperatures in the Rogue Valley and specifically Medford managed to climb into the 70’s. Medford had a high of 75 while Grants Pass had a high of 74. The East Side had afternoon highs in the mid 60’s. Saturday is looking very similar to Friday, with partly sunny skies and seasonably warm temperatures.
Clouds will begin increasing into the afternoon and by early evening showers and thunderstorms will begin developing to our South. Some of these thunderstorms could produce strong winds and heavy downpours. After midnight, most of the activity will just be shower related. The showers will become more widespread into Easter Sunday and hang around through much of the day. Some of these showers could produce moderate to heavy rainfall for short intervals of time.
These showers may linger into Monday but by Tuesday some drier air will begin filtering in. Safe travels this weekend and Happy Easter!
