A carbon copy day of yesterday with the only difference of maybe being a few degrees warmer today. This will be the trend through the holiday weekend with sunny skies inland and partly cloudy skies at the coast. The coast will see winds pick up in the afternoon hours through Monday, hence a small craft advisory is in effect until then. Keep this in mind if you’re headed to the coast this weekend, especially if you are planning to go out on a boat on the ocean.
Some areas will be dealing with morning smoke today and possibly for the next couple of days, but by the afternoon we should see quite a bit more clearing. Air quality for all of southern Oregon this morning is at ‘Good,’ for the most current air quality information click on the link under ‘Weather Links.’
We do have an Air Quality Alert for the smoke in the areas of Northern California coast including the counties of Del Norte, Humboldt and Trinity.

Have a happy Thursday and enjoy the weather!
